How to Start a Walking Club
Be a Walking Club Coordinator. As a Walking Club Coordinator, you’ll serve as an organizer, mentor and motivator. You’ll be responsible for setting up your group and helping spread the word in your community about the benefits of walking. Once you sign up, you can download coordinator resources. You also can use the Meetup.com website to set up your group online.

How to Find a Walking Club
Exercise with family, friends and neighbors The American Heart Association is making it fun and easy to get your heart healthy with our Walking Clubs. Walking with others can keep you motivated, improve your accountability and help you meet new people with similar goals
To get started, just sign up and search the Meetup.com website for a Walking Club based on location and similar interests. If you can’t find a Walking Club location or group that interests you, volunteer to lead one of your own. And joining an existing club is absolutely free!
