When she first went to the Ophthalmologist a year ago, she had to take antibiotics for 3 months because her eyes we so dry. She had to do daily scrapings on her eye lids to encourage oil production to lubricate her eyes. Then she had plugs inserted into her drainage ducts so the lubrication stayed on her eyes longer. Finally, a year later, after numerous check ups, she scheduled her eye surgery.
After the surgery, she was able to SEE the doctor…without glasses! Again, I am so proud of her.
